Al-Dana Girls’ Centre concludes its activities for Ramadan and Eid

The Al-Dana Girls’ Centre affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Sports concluded its religious, cultural and social activities for the holy month of Ramadan and Eidul-Fitr. This included many of the various activities that the Centre launched through its online platforms throughout the holy month.
Walaa Ahmed Youssef, director of Al-Dana Girls’ Centre explained that during the holy month, the centre launched several activities “online”, each suitable to the different age groups at the centre.
These activities included the “Ramadan Lawal (Ramadhan First)” program, which targeted girls from 12 years of age and older, and the “Pot & Ladle” program, through which the focus was on Qatari cooking recipes, in which the Centre’s employees participated, taking on the Qatari character and authentic Qatari cuisine. It also included a set of competitions to create a kind of communication between the Centre, women affiliates and society. The programs also included many events, including the Maysan Qatar program, and 30 supplications were published until the end of the holy month of Ramadan, as well as the Ghabga Ramadan program presented by Khadija Al-Buhaliqah, which then hosted a number of guests from Oman and Kuwait. At the end of the activities, Amina Al-Badr was hosted and she talked about Eid in the past.
Walaa explained that the Ramadan plan is considered one of the most successful plans, as it was commensurate with our stay at home. She said that the aim of the workshops is to develop a spirit of Qatari values, customs and traditions that the centre seeks to instil in the hearts of girls.
