In doing so, the Center complies with the State’s guidelines for social distancing under the plans for the prevention of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19).
At its third meeting, headed by Dr. Hamad Al Fayyad, the executive director of the Center, which was held recently “remotely” under the applied precautionary measures, The Media Center for Youth, discussed the details of the organization of the camp and the highlights of activities, events, workshops and lectures presented to the public.

The aim of the activities and awareness and educational services that will be organized is to promote the knowledge of young people in a scientific way and to produce effective educational videos, as well as to inform them of the correct way to appear in live videos on social media and how to manage crises. All these topics are significant to young people and take the current situation in the state into consideration, Dr. Al-Fayyad added.
The target audience to benefit from the diverse range of activities and events is the 14-year-old age group (boys and girls), he said, welcoming the participation of everyone in the camp that will be broadcast (live) on Instagram.
On the most notable activities the Center is preparing to organize, Dr. Al-Fayyad said, the camp involves workshops and lectures on the Youth Media Center accounts on social media, where the trainees will be allowed to interact with trainers.
A number of workshops on video editing, live broadcast methods and virtual reality techniques were prepared, he continued. This is in addition to a series of lectures on the internet, fraud communication, media and crisis management, as well as the event (my experience with the media) in which a media professional will be hosted to discuss his personal experience in the media.
Dr. Al Fayyad also revealed that an interactive youth competition will be organized, details of which will be announced at the beginning of the virtual media camp.
